Happy New Year!

Out with the old habits, in with the new!
Stop hitting snooze.
Skip the sugar.
Try placing your phone or alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. This gives you more time to enjoy your morning routine and ease into the day, possibly even finding extra time for a
visit to the Senior Center or your local Y!
Find new moves.
If you're starting to dread your workouts, then maybe it's time to switch them up! The Senior Center has so many FUN group exercise classes for you to choose from. We invite you to try a format you've never tried before - you may just find your new favorite and reignite your passion for exercise!
If you're cutting out sugary beverages but are missing the flavor, try adding fruit to your water. This adds a hint of flavor without any added sugar. Strawberries, lemons and cucumbers are just some examples of flavorful additions - get creative!

No nightly scrolling.
It may be one of the hardest habits to break - lying in bed, the comfort of the blue glow on your face as you scroll mindlessly through the internet. Instead, choose night time activities which promote sleep, like practicing mediation or relaxation techniques. You will thank yourself in the morning!
Special Event
Kid Curry's Last Ride
Tuesday, January 10th
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. $3

Author Ann Payton Williams “channels” a Texas soiled dove to help tell the story of the outlaw considered “the worst of the worst” by the head of the Pinkerton Detective Agency. Kid Curry rode with Butch and Sundance, killed 9 – or maybe 15 – and became the most wanted outlaw of his time. The story climaxes when Williams’ own great grandfather, a backcountry rancher, joins a posse to reclaim his stolen horse- never expecting a shootout with “The Tiger of the Wild Bunch.”
