Did you know? June is Alzheimer's and
Brain Awareness Month. 
Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month (ABAM) is celebrated every June. It's a time to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and to educate people about cognitive health. The official color of the Alzheimer's movement is purple, and people may choose to wear purple to show their support.

This class aims to help consumers understand, recognize and avoid financial fraud. In addition to why seniors are targeted by scammers, the warning signs of scams and how you can protect yourself.

Self Management Workshop

This workshop is designed to equip you with basic knowledge and understanding of how to manage your diabetes or hypertension effectively. It includes a disease overview, signs/symptoms and complications if not managed well. This workshop is for educational purposes only and facilitated by a licensed nurse.
Proactive Living: Healthy Eating as We Age!

"Healthy Eating as We Age: You are what you eat! Come learn tips and tricks to improve overall health through eating the right foods. Our nutritionist will talk about healthy habits, cooking for one, budget friendly ideas, over all nutrition and so much more!"

Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness

This program is intended for healthy individuals of any age who are looking for ways to age well. It is not designed for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
This program is designed to offer you research-based recommendations about taking care of our brains and our bodies in order to age as well as possible.  Identify the reasons for taking care of yourself as you age. List strategies to age well in the following areas: Cognitive activity; Physical health and exercise; Diet and nutrition and Social engagement. Make your own plan for healthy aging using the Healthy Habits for
a Healthier You workbook.

Seeing is Believing!!

Work has finally begun with demolition of the old building.
It was bittersweet to see it come down firsthand, but the reward is now that much closer. Thank you everyone for bearing with us through the delays. We can finally rejoice together and know that next year we will all be together in one place again.
