Yoga Retreat, only $25!

Take a step away from the busy weekend and treat yourself to this special yoga retreat.
Many different classes will be offered such as Flow Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for
Healthy Aging, and the Ayurveda Diet. All levels of experience are welcome. Cost
includes a healthy lunch, giveaways, a special guest presentation, and a wonderful
experience. Space is limited register early. Retreat is in partnership with AARP.

Are you a weather junkie? This trip is for you! At NCAR they study the
atmosphere, weather, and climate to
share that knowledge with others for the betterment of life on Earth! We get an amazing guided tour of the lab and facility. Lunch with be on your own
at Buca di Beppo, an Italian restaurant.

Hammond’s Candies Tour & Brunch

Nearly 100 years ago, Carl Hammond Sr. opened Hammond’s Candy Factory in Denver. While Hammond's started as a small family business with a loyal local following, they have now grown into an iconic brand with international distribution. We will take a tour of this delectable factory after we eat brunch at one of Denver's hotspots.

Meet Our New Instructors
Introducing Kat!
Here at the Senior Center Kat teaches German language classes, which is a new class offered this Fall. She is a wonderful addition to our instructor team and we are so glad to have her! Born and raised in Germany, where she met her husband Greg. After 20 years of active duty military life and getting to know lots of people and places both Kat and her husband have retired here in Colorado Springs. Kat loves to travel, hike and spending time outdoors with her dogs Otis and Frankie.

Introducing Branden!
Many of you may recognize Branden, as he worked at the Senior Center a few years back and we welcome his return with open arms! He is a fantastic fitness instructor and brings with him extensive knowledge in corrective exercises, nutrition and total body wellness.  In addition to instructing three exercise classes here at the Senior Center, Branden also owns his own Personal Training business. He lives here in Colorado Springs with his wife.

Let's Take a Hike
Hike For Life exists to nurture community, inspire exploration and preserve the great outdoors. Hikes are designed to be educationally enhanced, environmentally aware, and safety conscious. We believe that teaching and helping others to explore safely with an emphasis on stewardship strengthens our community and helps protect our limited natural resources.

Costumes are encouraged with a TON of prizes ready to reward your creativity. You'll have a great time while making it possible for our friends and neighbors in need to access membership and programs at the Y.
