We have a few updates to share with you. A note from our Operations Director -Tom Lathrop
The New Senior Center The Construction for the new building is still delayed. The groundbreaking ceremony is being rescheduled. Once we know a new date we will share this. We are currently waiting to get demolition permits issued. Hopefully in the next few weeks we'll see the buildings come down and the empty lot being prepared. This last week I was able to review the final furniture pieces all of the options were very impressive and everyone will love them.
Program Pricing As you all know prices on many services have increased in the last few years. At the Senior Center we have been slow to make increases. However we are at a point today where we find ourselves with expenses that we need to make some changes for some of our class offerings. Thank you for your understanding as we make these changes with the summer classes. We continue to offer scholarships for those that need to get a break and are working with a limited income. Please don't hesitate to ask us. We want to help and make our classes available to everyone.
Thank you for staying with us during this transition. This next year will fly by and we'll be back in one building in no time.
