Thank you for being part of our Senior Center family. For the past 37 years, we have been serving seniors in the Colorado Springs community, and for the past 8 years, we have been thrilled to be operated by the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region.
The partnership between the City of Colorado Springs and the YMCA has made it possible to serve you, and we are very excited that the City has decided to build a new Senior Center. We will all get to enjoy the new space next year.
Our mission is to offer quality-of-life experiences to adults 55 and older through programs, events, and possibilities. Revisiting a pastime or trying some new is what we strive to do each day. This year, while the new center is being constructed, we are still open and impacting
the community. We have three locations serving different parts of town.

I also want you to be aware of a change coming on February 1st. Like other businesses and nonprofits, the YMCA and Senior Center must now pass through a service fee from our credit card processor of 2.75% on all credit card transactions and 2.25% on all ACH transactions.
The YMCA and Senior Center do not keep this money; it goes to the credit card and ACH processor. This change will begin on February 1, 2024. However, the Senior Center will continue to accept cash as an option for you. We ask that exact amounts be presented; we will do our best to have change on hand.
2024 is going to be
a fantastic year. Come and pick up our new magazine for this year. It features additional information about our ongoing programs and policies, and don’t forget to give some love to our sponsors who have paid for ads. This spring session has over 130 classes and activities, so pick up your schedules today.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us and for giving to our annual support campaign each year. This helps us pay for scholarships to give out to those who need help and can greatly benefit from our programs. You, our staff, volunteers, and community partners are all critical to those feeling lonely and disconnected and who need to get out of the house and enjoy life.
