Active Aging Week
Let’s kick off Active Aging Week with a few laughs! Join us for A Humorous Look at Aging – Monday, September 30, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.,  $1

Today, as in years past, Bette Davis’ comment rings true. "Old age ain't no place for sissies." Aging is a daunting prospect for most of us. Confronted by the challenges of illness, the reality of our mortality, and the myriad of losses prompted by aging, we obviously need courage, commitment, and conviction to navigate the journey. And a good sense of humor helps a lot! Humor and laughter are known to be beneficial methods of coping with stress. Presented by Jane Barton, a passionate speaker, and writer.

Silent Auction
Active Aging is all about doing what you love often! In this Active aging week let's "Ignite Your Passions" by showing items of interest in our 3rd Annual Silent Auction. The auction and bidding will begin Monday, Sept. 30 at 8:00 am and will end Friday, Oct. 4 at 3:00 pm. We will call the winners of the bidding on Friday. All proceeds will benefit the Senior Center. Items will be located in the multi-purpose room. Keep your eye on items often so you don't get outbid!
