Attend and help support our local artist and patron of the Senior Center, Del Jessen, in partnership with the Colorado Creative Co-Op!

I have been drawing with black ink on paper since the early ’70’s. Many of those early drawings were flight-of-fancy constructions, and of the German countryside where I was stationed. At about the same time I started developing black and white film in the GI Rec Center on the Army missile base, and printing prints in the photo lab there. I’ve continued splitting my recreational time between photography and pen & ink drawing ever since. When I retired I noticed the Senior Center offered a "Pen & Ink" art class. On my first session I brought some examples of my work, most of which consisted of small pieces. Darcy, the instructor, liked them very much… then she said I should think about working LARGER…I followed her advice.
