COVID-19 Update
The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region continues to closely monitor the guidelines set forth by the CDC and El Paso County. The safety of our members and staff remains our highest priority and we continue to take extra precautions in the cleaning and sanitizing of our centers, as well as following all mask mandates and social distancing protocols.

It has been recently announced that our community will be entering into Level Red effective 5 p.m. Friday, November 27. We know that the ability to continue working out is key to combating mental, emotional, and physical stressors. We will remain open at this new safety level, but we will be aligning with the latest requirements and downsizing the number of members within a program and/or working out within a given space or room. Staff will be closely monitoring all areas of our centers and we ask for your patience as we all work through these new guidelines.

Our staff are looking at other options within our centers to allow for more workout space while keeping your health and wellness in mind.

Due to the new restrictions we strongly encourage you to check our website at ppymca.org/wellnessmatters for center capacities and to make reservations. You may also make reservations via our mobile app.

Moving into this new level means less members at a given time may workout, so we ask that all of our members be considerate of each other in length of time when using equipment and weights.

As a member of the Y, you are now able to opt in FREE to our new virtual platform BurnAlong. Please be sure to check out the Virtual Platform section within this eNewsletter to learn more.

And lastly, thank you for being a member of the Y. With you, we are a community and we will get through all of this together. To ensure you have the latest information regarding your Y, please visit ppymca.org/wellnessmatters regularly.

Virtual Platform

Introducing the YMCA's new virtual wellness platform! BurnAlong is FREE to Y members. Join your favorite instructors for online classes to help you stay motivated anywhere! From at-home workouts for the whole family to classes on healthy habits, we have something for everyone.

Adventure Academy is back!

School may be virtual, but the Y is LIVE! The YMCA Adventure Academy is designed with the structure of a school day but with a twist of YMCA adventure. We will provide time daily for youth to focus on online schoolwork while also engaging in interesting and challenging activities.

Virtual Turkey Trot 5K
There's still time to sign up! It's the race that you know and love, bringing the community together while staying six feet apart. You can run your Turkey Trot 5k wherever and whenever you want (and sleep in on Thanksgiving), knowing that your race registration made a positive impact.
Youth Art Show

Our young artists have been working very hard on recycled arts projects in celebration of Arts Month. We are excited to announce our 3rd Annual Art Auction - Virtual Style. All funds raised will support the YMCA's Annual campaign, so we will never have to turn anyone away from the Y.
